The Sonoma County Family YMCA is seeking an inspiring and organized ASES Site Director to lead our After School Education & Safety (ASES) program at Thomas Page Elementary School. You'll join a mission-focused organization where your leadership, ideas, and passion can truly make a difference, What You'll Do As the ASES Site Director, you'll oversee the daily operations of a dynamic before and after-school program serving elementary-aged youth. You'll lead and support a team that may include an Assistant Director, Program Leaders, and Program Aides while creating a safe, engaging, and enriching environment where children can learn, grow, and belong. Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of youth development professionals. Create a positive, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all participants. Implement engaging academic enrichment and recreational programming. Build strong relationships with students, families, school staff, and community partners. Ensure program quality, safety, and compliance with YMCA and ASES standards. Serve as the primary liaison between the YMCA, school administration, custodial staff, and parents/guardians. Foster staff growth through coaching, training, and ongoing support. What Makes You a Great Fit We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, dependable, and passionate about youth development. Required Qualifications Minimum 18 years of age. 1-2 years of leadership experience in education, school-age childcare, youth development, or related fields. Ability to pass DOJ, FBI, and sex offender screening requirements. Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills. Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Child Development, or a related field. CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire). Spanish language skills. Schedule This position follows a Monday-Friday schedule. Site Directors may be required to work as early as 7:00 AM and as late as 6:00 PM depending on program needs.
