Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Licensed Daycare to lead and oversee the operations of our licensed early childhood education center. This pivotal role involves ensuring compliance with all licensing regulations, fostering a nurturing environment for children, and providing strategic leadership to staff and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for childhood development, strong management skills, and a comprehensive understanding of educational regulations, curriculum development, and personnel management. As a key leader, you will drive excellence in early childhood education while maintaining operational efficiency and fostering community engagement. Responsibilities Provide visionary leadership to the daycare center, setting strategic goals aligned with educational standards and community needs. Oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with all licensing requirements, health and safety regulations, and educational policies. Develop, implement, and evaluate age-appropriate curricula that promote childhood development, social-emotional learning, and early literacy skills. Manage budgets effectively, including planning financial resources, monitoring expenditures, and ensuring fiscal responsibility as an executive education administrator. Lead personnel management efforts by supervising staff recruitment, professional development facilitation in early childhood education, performance evaluations, and fostering a positive team environment. Ensure legal compliance related to school operations, special education law, childhood development standards, and educational regulation understanding. Cultivate relationships with families, community partners, and regulatory agencies through public speaking engagements and community outreach initiatives. Qualifications Proven experience in school administrative director roles within early childhood or K-12 settings with a strong background in education administration. Extensive knowledge of curriculum development, instructional leadership in education, and managing educational compliance and regulation standards. Demonstrated success in managing budgets as an executive education administrator along with personnel management in educational environments. Supervising experience with school staff supervision, faculty evaluation, and facilitating professional development programs. Strong understanding of special education law and childhood development principles applicable to licensed daycare settings. Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, manage multiple priorities efficiently, and communicate effectively through public speaking. Classroom experience coupled with working directly with students enhances your ability to lead an early childhood program effectively. Pay:
From $26.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
