SALARY RANGE
Per Classified Salary Schedule plus prorated School District Comprehensive Benefits Package. Nine-month position (follows the school calendar with a daily schedule to be determined by the principal and special education staff). Salary range is $19.95-$36.08 per hour, depending on education and experience

Required Qualifications & Skills
Experience:
Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or leading an infant/toddler room.
Education:
Hold a current early childhood professional credential level II or higher in version 3.0, as determined by the Colorado Department of Early Childhood, have a minimum of nine (9) months (1,365 hours) of verifiable experience in the care and supervision of infants and/or toddlers, and: (a) Has completed one (1) three (3) semester credit hour course in infant/toddler development; or (b) Has completed the Department-approved expanding quality in infant and toddler care training course. Current First-Aid and CPR certification Must be at least 19 years old
Skills:
Strong communication, leadership, and organization skills with a compassionate, patient demeanor. Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Staff Supervision:
Mentor, support, and guide infant caregivers, providing training to improve quality of care.
Classroom Management:
Ensure compliance with state licensing, child-to-staff ratios, health protocols, and cleaning routines.
Curriculum & Development:
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities focusing on cognitive, social, and motor development.
Infant Care & Safety:
Maintain a safe, hygienic, and nurturing environment; track daily attendance, health, and feeding schedules, and diaper changes.
Family Partnerships:
Build positive relationships with parents, providing daily reports on child development and milestones.

Position follows the school calendar and daily school schedule. All contracts/agreements for employment of personnel shall be subject to the approval of the Board of Education.
