Founded in 2010, Ivy Camps has delivered educational and fun programming to thousands of children via in-person and online interactive classes- working with kids in over 50 countries.
SUMMARY:
Confidently lead our team of instructors to build a safe, happy, and stimulating learning environment for students ages 5-14. Duties include overseeing the coordination of education programs that comply with local and federal regulations; ensuring that facilities are maintained; managing and supporting all staff; communicating proactively with parents; assisting with possible incidents; and managing the online registration system.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and coordinate curricula, activities, and games with staff Manage and support teaching staff and promote their professional development Manage and oversee the digital system and billing that run the after-school program Communicate proactively with parents about student performance, learning, and any possible incidents Ensure the center's facilities are safe for children and comply with laws and regulations Evaluate and create lists of materials, equipment, and supplies that need to be purchased Manage budget efficiently Manage staff schedule with varying availabilitiesEDUCATION & RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE
Experience working with children required Experience working in a leadership position required A current director qualifications certificate issued by the Department or a current Early Childhood Professional Credential Level II or higher Bachelor's Degree in Child Development, Psychology, Early Childhood Education, Early Childhood Special Education, Elementary Education, Elementary Special Education, Family and Human Development, Family Studies, Special Education, Outdoor Education, Recreation, or Human Services OR a 2-year college degree and three (3) months (455 hours) of experience in the care and supervision of children preferred LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS, orCERTIFICATIONS
Possess current CPR/First-Aid/AED Adult/Pediatric certification OR willingness to acquire certification within 14 days of hire Must hold an Early Childhood Professional Credential (ECPC) Level II or higher prior to hire (required by St. Vrain Valley School District; documentation required) Must complete all state-required training before starting position; a manager will support you in determining completion timelines in accordance with guidelines Background check required for hireTECHNICAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, & ABILITIES

Monthly:
Create a staffing schedule based on availabilities and communicate with staff members Create an after-school activity plan using provided resources that upholds expectations Create a list of needed materials for activities within the approved budget and communicate to appropriate personnel Confirm staff hours and report to HR for payroll Submit reimbursement documentation as needed Run safety drills and maintain logs for licensing Meet with nurse to review safety/health items Confirm monthly billings are correct Conduct surveys of students, parents, and staff Attend monthly meeting with supervisor and school to discuss the programWeekly:
Attend weekly meeting with supervisor and other directors Sanitize toys and materials Maintain inventory of materials and snacks Confirm weekly billings are correct Confirm staffing attendance Create weekly activity summary (may be completed monthly)Daily:
Respond to emails/Procare messages from parents Monitor student sign-in/sign-out in Procare Ensure staff are clocking in and out appropriately Engage with students and parents Enforce staff expectations Assist with and/or lead activities as needed Handle student behavior concerns Arrive 30 minutes before program start time to assign roles and set up activities Ivy Camps USA is an equal-opportunity employer.Job Type:
