In this vital role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with licensing standards, and foster a positive, engaging atmosphere for children, families, and staff alike. Your leadership will inspire excellence in early childhood education while maintaining a safe and caring space for all. Duties Manage daily daycare operations, including staff scheduling, curriculum implementation, and facility maintenance to ensure smooth functioning. Lead and motivate a team of educators and caregivers, providing mentorship and ongoing training in childhood development, classroom management, and behavior management strategies. Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programs for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with special needs or disabilities. Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, health and safety standards, including first aid protocols and emergency procedures. Foster strong relationships with families through regular communication, updates on child progress, and addressing individual needs or concerns. Oversee classroom environments to promote inclusive caregiving practices such as special education techniques and working with children with disabilities. Maintain accurate records related to child attendance, developmental assessments, incident reports, and staff documentation. Qualifications Proven experience working with children across various age groups including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with special needs. Strong background in early childhood education principles, childhood development theories, and classroom management techniques. Certification in first aid and CPR; additional certifications in special education or working with individuals with disabilities are highly desirable. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising childcare staff or teaching teams. Knowledge of licensing requirements for daycare centers and experience ensuring compliance with safety standards. Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with families, staff, and community partners. Ability to handle behavior management challenges compassionately while maintaining a positive learning environment.
