Assistant Director | Kiddie Academy of Fleming Island Something BIG is coming to Fleming Island! Kiddie Academy of Fleming Island is a brand-new, state-of-the-art early childhood education center , and we're building our leadership team from the ground up! We're looking for an energetic, organized, and passionate Assistant Director who wants more than just a job — someone who wants to be part of building an amazing school, developing a strong team, and creating an incredible experience for children and families. WHAT YOU'LL DO
As our Assistant Director, you'll be an important part of the day-to-day leadership of the academy. You'll help ensure our children receive an exceptional educational experience while supporting our teachers, families, and school operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
Support, coach, and motivate teachers and staff Help ensure successful implementation of the Life Essentials® curriculum Conduct classroom observations and provide meaningful feedback Support teacher onboarding, training, and professional development Build positive relationships with families and provide outstanding customer service Assist with parent communication, phone calls, and front office operations Conduct tours and help prospective families discover why Kiddie Academy is the right choice for their children Support enrollment and family engagement initiatives Assist with licensing, DCF, compliance, and academy records Partner with the Director to create a positive, accountable, and team-oriented culture Help establish systems and routines that will set our new academy up for long-term success

QUALIFICATIONS
Must be at least 21 years old CDA, Associate's, or related field preferred DCF 45 Hours required Previous preschool/early childhood education experience required Leadership, mentoring, coaching, or supervisory experience strongly preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced early childhood environment Passion for children, education, and developing people
