The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. As the Director, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure compliance with all regulations while promoting the development and well-being of each child in our care. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that supports childhood development and learning objectives. Supervise and mentor daycare staff, providing guidance on best practices in childcare and classroom management. Ensure a safe and clean environment for children, adhering to health and safety regulations. Foster positive relationships with parents and guardians through regular communication regarding their child's progress. Manage enrollment processes, including tours for prospective families and maintaining accurate records. Collaborate with staff to create individualized plans for children with special needs or disabilities. Conduct regular assessments of children's development and implement behavior management strategies as needed. Organize training sessions for staff on topics such as first aid, special education, and effective caregiving techniques. Skills Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Experience working with children in various capacities such as daycare, preschool, or nannying. Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies. Ability to develop engaging activities that support toddler care, infant care, and overall childhood development. Excellent communication skills for interacting with parents, staff, and children. A background in special education or experience working with people with disabilities is highly desirable. First aid certification is preferred to ensure the safety of all children in care. Strong organizational skills to manage daily operations effectively.
