Job Description

Kiddie Academy of Lake Nona is part of a growing franchise that is seeking a new and positive addition to our administrative team. As the Assistant Director, you will help us to continuously develop an environment that prioritizes safety and nurtures creativity . We are looking for a leader that is always ready to learn new concepts and help staff in developing as a team. You'll bring a creative touch and caring attitude to our passionate team of childcare professionals who make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families in our community every day. Must Have:
At least 1- 2 years of direct professional experience in an early childhood leadership setting as an Assistant Director Strong oral and written communication skills. A.A or B.A in Education and or/ CDA A strong understanding of child development. Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification. Must clear full background check. Must be able to work Full Time hours M - F 9:30am / 6:30pm
Responsibilities:
Assume duties of Center Director and Teachers as needed during their absence. Collaborate with staff to ensure adherence to quality standards in accordance with Center guidelines and state and local requirements; implement improvements where needed. Maintain communication with families and community through appropriate outreach activities. Follow all center policies and state regulations. Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement. Support, guide, and train staff Maintain compliance of student files with DCF regulations Ensure that classroom ratios are being adhered too Assist teachers with curriculum development
