A Preschool or Childcare Director manages and directs programs for very young children. Supervises child care workers and pre-school teachers. Proposes policies, program fees and budgets for approval by a program board or administrative agency or implements policies of a national organization. Meets with parents and staff to discuss the development, learning and behavior of children in the program or center. Orders supplies and monitors maintenance and cleaning at a facility. Ensures that the program or center meets state and federal guidelines.

Job Description
Role:
We are seeking an experienced Early Childhood Education Disabilities Coordinator to join our team in Palmetto, FL. In this role, you will provide supervision, support, training, and technical assistance for classroom staff in support of quality early childhood education services.Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors in early childhood education (ECE), Child Development, Special Education, Early Intervention, or related field with 6 courses (18 credits) in early childhood education; Head Start, supervisory and related years of experience.Experience working with children with disabilities in an educational setting
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters in early childhood education (ECE), Child Development, Special Education, Early Intervention, or related field with 6 courses (18 credits) in early childhood education; Head Start, supervisory and related years of experience. Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.Experience providing training and support to teachers and staff on best practices for working with children
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with families, teachers, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans for each childProvide training and support to teachers and staff on best practices for working with young children Recruit, screen, interview, and hire classroom staff in cooperation with Center Director and appropriate staff following guidelines established in Grow Early Learning's Personnel Policies. Address disciplinary issues and conduct performance appraisals according to Grow Early Learning policies and guidelines.What we offer you:
