This role ensures compliance with state and local regulations while creating a safe, positive, and productive environment for children, families, and staff. Key Responsibilities Establish and maintain a clear vision for the center while meeting or exceeding quality standards. Collaborate with staff to develop and implement engaging, effective educational programs. Ensure accurate and up-to-date student records and enrollment documentation. Build strong relationships with parents through regular communication and community outreach. Oversee meal planning and food purchases to meet children's nutritional needs. Maintain positive relationships with regulatory agencies and ensure legal and financial compliance. Oversee administrative functions, including payroll, accounts payable/receivable, tuition billing, HR, and personnel management. Address and resolve conflicts and operational issues fairly and promptly. Develop and manage budgets while maintaining program quality and financial goals. Develop and implement illness, emergency, and safety procedures and ensure staff are properly trained. Establish and execute strategic plans aligned with the center's mission. Participate in ongoing professional development and stay current with early childhood best practices. Requirements Minimum 5 years of direct professional experience in an early childhood setting , including at least 3 years of supervisory experience . Strong oral and written communication skills with technology proficiency. Ability to collaborate effectively and lead a diverse team. Strong understanding of child development. Bachelor's or master's degree in early childhood education or a related field , with at least 30 credits in Early Childhood Education . Strong financial management and budgeting skills. Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Current Infant/Child CPR and First Aid certification . Ability to successfully complete a background check and health screening.
