A Preschool or Childcare Director manages and directs programs for very young children. Supervises child care workers and pre-school teachers. Proposes policies, program fees and budgets for approval by a program board or administrative agency or implements policies of a national organization. Meets with parents and staff to discuss the development, learning and behavior of children in the program or center. Orders supplies and monitors maintenance and cleaning at a facility. Ensures that the program or center meets state and federal guidelines.

PACE, a member of Empath Health is searching for a compassionate and detail-oriented Center Manager to join our interdisciplinary PACE team in Tampa, FL. The Center Manager will provide comprehensive medical and social services that allow seniors to remain safe and independent in their communities. As part of our leadership team, you will make a direct impact on the lives of older adults and their families while helping shape the future of integrated senior care. Build lasting connections with participants, supporting their independence and mobility—this is a meaningful alternative to inpatient rehab or traditional outpatient care. •
Team-Driven, Preventive Focus:
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, social workers, and other clinicians in a true interdisciplinary care model focused on prevention and holistic well-being. Lead and supervise day center staff, CNAs, and other assigned team members. Coordinate interdisciplinary care planning, family meetings, and participant support services. Manage staff hiring, onboarding, scheduling, evaluations, and performance management. Partner with leadership to oversee budgets, compliance, and operational standards. A Mission That Matters:

Minimum Associate's degree with 5-7 years of management experience in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment. 2-3 years of progressive leadership experience required. Florida professional license (RN, Social Work, Therapy, etc.) preferred. Knowledge of the physical, mental, and social needs of older adults. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and team-building skills. Successful completion of competency assessment upon hire and annually thereafter. Valid Florida driver's license, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation. Experience in quality/compliance or managed care/capitated programs. Professional background in Nursing, Social Work, Therapy, Dietetics, Gerontology, or related field. Demonstrated ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and drive quality outcomes.
