A Preschool or Childcare Director manages and directs programs for very young children. Supervises child care workers and pre-school teachers. Proposes policies, program fees and budgets for approval by a program board or administrative agency or implements policies of a national organization. Meets with parents and staff to discuss the development, learning and behavior of children in the program or center. Orders supplies and monitors maintenance and cleaning at a facility. Ensures that the program or center meets state and federal guidelines.
Description Under administrative supervision of the Director of Clinical Operations, responsible for assessment, implementation, and evaluation of administrative operations to deliver efficient and effective delivery of patient care services to nursing and/or ancillary department. Works in collaboration with Management team to ensure delivery of patient care services is efficient, with high-quality outcomes. Responsible for hiring, directing, and evaluating designated team members. Establishes action plans and priorities. Recruits, maintains and supervises a workforce to support the Cancer Institute. Counsels, appraises, disciplines and rewards employees. Oversees payroll for assigned employees. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital along with any other duties as assigned.
Essential Functions :
Evaluate current processes and implement strategies to ensure efficient and effective delivery of patient care services. Work closely with leadership to maintain high-quality outcomes and operational efficiency. Responsible for workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, and supervision of designated team members. Counsel, appraise, discipline, and reward employees to maintain compliance and performance standards. Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for assigned employees. Create and maintain operational and administrative reports per TGH and regulatory requirements. Foster and implement new programs or modify existing ones to address current and future challenges. Maintain adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and hospital standards. Uphold patient/customer privacy and report hazards or unsafe practices according to hospital protocols. Perform all duties in alignment with Tampa General Hospital's mission, vision, and values Qualifications Bachelor's Degree Nursing Florida Registered Nurse License Three (3) years of RN experience.
OCN, ONS
Chemotherapy & Biotherapy card preferred. BLS preferred. Oncology experience and 5 years of leadership experience preferred
