We partner with skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, and other healthcare organizations to provide comprehensive cardiovascular care, including cardiac device management and diagnostic services. We are seeking an experienced and highly dependable Cardiac Device & Telemetry Technician to join our growing team. This is a field-based position requiring regular travel to partner facilities and is ideal for someone who is comfortable working independently, managing a mobile schedule, and performing cardiac device interrogations in a variety of clinical settings. Responsibilities Perform in-person pacemaker, ICD, CRT-P, and CRT-D device interrogations at partner facilities. Obtain and accurately document device interrogation data for physician/EP review. Recognize and appropriately escalate abnormal device findings, arrhythmias, battery concerns, lead issues, and other findings requiring clinical attention. Assist with cardiac rhythm and telemetry review, including identification of common arrhythmias and conduction abnormalities. Maintain accurate, timely documentation of all completed interrogations and patient encounters. Coordinate with PremierCardia providers, physicians, facility nursing teams, and administrative staff regarding device-related findings and follow-up needs. Ensure required patient information and documentation are obtained at the time of service. Maintain organized tracking of patients due for routine device interrogation and assist with ensuring appropriate follow-up intervals. Safely transport, maintain, and manage device interrogation equipment and other assigned company equipment. Travel between assigned skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and post-acute facilities throughout the designated territory. Assist with expansion into new facilities and service areas as PremierCardia continues to grow. Maintain HIPAA compliance and adhere to all applicable clinical, documentation, and organizational standards. Qualifications Prior cardiac device interrogation experience strongly preferred. Must be comfortable with the cardiac device interrogation process and familiar with pacemakers, ICDs, and cardiac resynchronization devices. Experience with cardiac telemetry, ECG/EKG interpretation, electrophysiology, cardiology, or cardiac device management preferred. Strong understanding of cardiac rhythms and ability to recognize clinically significant abnormalities. Ability to work independently in the field with limited direct supervision. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, patients, and facility leadership. Must be reliable, accountable, and comfortable managing a travel-based schedule. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel are required. Ability to appropriately handle and transport cardiac device interrogation equipment. Travel Requirements Travel is an essential function of this position. The technician will routinely travel to PremierCardia partner facilities to perform scheduled cardiac device interrogations and support telemetry/device services. Candidates must be comfortable with regular regional travel and managing a multi-facility schedule. Occasional longer-distance travel may be required based on operational needs and expansion into new markets.
