Meets with parents and staff to discuss the development, learning and behavior of children in the program or center. Orders supplies and monitors maintenance and cleaning at a facility. Ensures that the program or center meets state and federal guidelines.
Director of Early Education Center Coastal Cathedral Early Education Center Savannah, GA | Full-Time | Salaried Coastal Cathedral Early Education Center is seeking a dedicated, experienced, and compassionate Director to lead our Early Education Center. The Director will be responsible for the overall operation of the center, providing strong leadership to staff while ensuring a safe, nurturing, and high-quality environment for the children in our care. Key Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of the Early Education Center. Lead, supervise, and support teaching and administrative staff. Ensure the center operates in compliance with all applicable state licensing requirements and guidelines. Maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment for children and staff. Support and promote high-quality early childhood education and care. Manage staffing, scheduling, and day-to-day center needs. Communicate effectively with families, staff, and leadership. Ensure policies, procedures, and safety standards are consistently followed. Foster a positive, professional, and collaborative workplace environment. Qualifications Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and possess one or more of the following educational qualifications: Child Development Associate CDA credential along with 6 months of childcare experience Technical Certificate of Credit TCC in Early Childhood Education, Infant and Toddler, or School Age and Youth Care along with 6 months of childcare experience Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development along with 6 months of childcare experience Paraprofessional Certificate along with 6 months of childcare experience Bachelor's degree in a field other than Early Childhood Education, along with at least 3 months of childcare experience Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development Master's degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development At least 15 semester hours from an accredited university in Early Childhood Education along with 6 months of childcare experience 40-hour Director training and a minimum of 5 years of experience working as an on-site
