Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Contract A dynamic opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Manager to oversee a 340B retail pharmacy located within a critical access hospital environment. This position offers the chance to manage a pharmacy with an average prescription volume of 140 per day, providing essential healthcare services to the community.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead daily pharmacy operations ensuring compliance with 340B program regulations and hospital policies. Manage a pharmacy team consisting of one pharmacist (yourself) and two technicians without PRN pharmacist support. Oversee the dispensing and accuracy of approximately 140 prescriptions daily using the Pioneer pharmacy computer system. Collaborate closely with hospital staff to maintain high standards of patient care and medication safety. Ensure the pharmacy operates efficiently within the critical access hospital setting.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid Iowa pharmacist license or ability to obtain an Iowa temporary license promptly. Proven retail pharmacy experience, with familiarity in 340B pharmacy program preferred. Strong leadership skills and ability to work independently managing staff and workflow. Availability for full-time engagement during the contract period.
