What they do

A Preschool or Childcare Director manages and directs programs for very young children. Supervises child care workers and pre-school teachers. Proposes policies, program fees and budgets for approval by a program board or administrative agency or implements policies of a national organization. Meets with parents and staff to discuss the development, learning and behavior of children in the program or center. Orders supplies and monitors maintenance and cleaning at a facility. Ensures that the program or center meets state and federal guidelines.

If you enjoy planning activities, working with kids, staying busy, and making every day exciting, we'd love to meet you. Immediate Start Schedule Immediate Start Monday-Friday 8:30 AM-1:00 PM Temporary Summer Position Every day is different!
Responsibilities include:
Plan and lead engaging daily activities for children and teens Create a structured, fun, and welcoming environment Prepare and serve breakfast each morning Create daily schedules for staff and clients Develop creative games, crafts, outings, and enrichment activities Coordinate community outings and build relationships with local organizations and businesses Prepare activity materials and supplies ahead of each day Assist leadership with center organization and daily operations Help maintain documentation and administrative tasks Keep the center clean, organized, and ready for success Jump in wherever needed to support the team
We're Looking For Someone Who Is:
Creative and enjoys planning engaging activities Highly organized and self-motivated Comfortable taking initiative without needing constant direction Positive, dependable, and adaptable Excellent at multitasking in a fast-paced environment Passionate about working with children and teens with developmental disabilities A strong communicator and team player Preferred Experience in any of the following is a plus: Childcare Education Behavioral health Recreation or youth programs Camp counseling Event planning or activity coordination
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to pass a background check Ability to complete required training Comfortable lifting activity supplies and being active throughout the day Why BBH?
