Our agency is searching for a Assistant Director with outstanding management skills to join our team. We are seeking a professional who has experience in the field of educational administration and has detailed knowledge of DCFS rules and regulations for daycare centers. Your tasks and responsibilities as an assistant director will be: Hire, train and supervise new staff members Manage day-to-day operations: prepare staffing schedules, maintain classroom ratios, conduct tours; process new enrollments, etc Maintain accurate student and staff files Maintain school records in compliance with DCFS regulations Evaluate lesson plans, observations and refine the existing curriculum. Passionately promote the center and maintain a positive and ethical environment Communicate regularly with the Executive Director about the operation of the program Job requirements are: Must be Director Qualified AA Degree in ECE is required 2-3 years experience in supervisory or management role Strong customer service skills Computer/technology literacy Strong organizational and supervisory skills Ability to manage multiple projects and follow through with the tasks Create and maintain positive relationship with families and staff Benefits package includes: Competitive salary Paid vacation, holidays Childcare discounts
