Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Preschool to lead and oversee all aspects of our early childhood education program. This pivotal role involves strategic leadership, curriculum development, staff management, and ensuring compliance with educational regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for childhood development, a strong background in education administration, and the ability to foster an enriching, safe, and nurturing environment for young learners. As a key member of our leadership team, you will drive the vision for preschool excellence and cultivate a collaborative atmosphere that supports both staff growth and student success. Responsibilities Provide visionary leadership to develop and implement innovative curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards and best practices. Manage daily operations of the preschool, including staff supervision, classroom oversight, and student engagement strategies. Facilitate professional development opportunities for teachers and staff to enhance instructional quality and promote continuous improvement. Oversee budgeting processes, manage financial resources effectively, and ensure fiscal responsibility in all program activities. Lead fundraising initiatives to support program growth, facility improvements, and special projects that benefit students and families. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to early childhood education, health and safety standards, and legal requirements such as special education law. Conduct faculty evaluations, supervise personnel management tasks, and foster a positive team environment emphasizing collaboration and professional growth. Develop strategic plans for program expansion or enhancement while maintaining high standards of educational excellence. Represent the preschool community through public speaking engagements, community outreach efforts, and partnerships with local organizations. Qualifications Extensive experience in school administration or as a school administrative director within early childhood or K-12 settings. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development tailored to preschool-aged children. Proven success in managing budgets as an executive education administrator or similar role. Strong leadership skills with experience supervising school staff and facilitating professional development in educational environments. Deep knowledge of educational compliance regulations, including childhood development laws and special education legal requirements. Excellent communication skills suitable for public speaking, team leadership, and community engagement. Background in early childhood education with classroom experience working directly with young children. Familiarity with school legal frameworks, instructional leadership principles, and managing personnel within educational settings. Ability to develop strategic plans that align with organizational goals while fostering an inclusive learning environment focused on childhood development.
