Center Director Reports To:
President - Board of Directors Women's Care Cente r is the nation's largest pregnancy resource center, dedicated to achieving measurable results and fulfilling its mission: "To give all women the opportunity to choose life." Women's Care Center serves 45,000 women annually through 39 centers across 12 states. Guided by a strategic vision to serve 100,000 women each year by 2032, we open two new centers annually to extend compassionate care and give more women the opportunity to choose life.
General Summary:
The Northeast Indiana Center Director fosters an environment in which all staff members and volunteers uphold and reflect the Women's Care Center mission and Client Care Model. The Director manages day-to-day operations in accordance with rigorous standards of care and financial stewardship; provides staff with direction, support, and accountability; and works closely with the Board of Directors.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Leadership across all Center departments (Outreach, Client Care, Human Resources, Finance, and Administration) Oversee
CLIENT CARE
tasks of the Center o Collaborate with the Lead Counselor on organization-wide priorities and facilitate Center-wide changes directed by Women's Care Center Inc. o Collaborate with WCC Senior Director- Licensee and New Centers through biweekly Level 10 Directors Meetings to ensure fidelity to WCC brand and proven processes o Assist with staff goal-setting and quarterly and annual reviews o Supervise volunteer recruitment, retention, orientation, and engagement. o Support changes that improve client satisfaction and Center efficiency while reducing costs. HR MANAGEMENT
tasks of the Center o Lead staff recruitment, retention, and development efforts o Implement established HR policies in collaboration with the HR Committee Chair o Lead the hiring process in collaboration with WCC Inc. leadership; maintain current staff files; track paid time off; and implement disciplinary action when necessary. o Assist with annual performance reviews; the Lead Counselor and a WCC Inc. Leadership Team designee evaluate performance related to client care. o Organize weekly Level 10 meetings and quarterly one-on-one meetings o Advocate for continued education opportunities o Encourage self-care among staff and plan staff appreciation events Oversee
ADMINISTRATIVE
tasks of the Center o Prepare reports for Board meetings with updates on staffing, services, finances, and other key matters. o Ensure administrative tasks are completed in a timely manner o Ensure WCC NEI operates in compliance with all laws and regulations. o Ensure WCC NEI adheres to the highest ethical standards. FINANCIAL
tasks of the Center o Manage Center operations within the approved budget, with support from the Board Treasurer . o Interpret financial documents, including budgets, cash-flow statements, and balance sheets. Engage with the Board of Directors o Serve as the staff liaison to the Board of Directors by attending all Board meetings and providing Center updates. o Work collaboratively with the Board President to drive necessary change and promote growth of the Center and mission. o Utilize board subcommittees to complete time-bound tasks such as setting the annual budget, hosting fundraisers, hiring staff, completing facility updates, etc. o Implement the Strategic Plan and track progress toward established goals. o Lead Board development efforts, including ongoing education and training. OUTREACH
activities o Actively support development efforts that strengthen the Center's financial sustainability. o Cultivate relationships with churches, civic groups, and other community partners through communications and presentations. Perform other duties that support the Center's effective and efficient operation.
Requirements:
o Demonstrates a sincere, deep commitment to the WCC mission and can effectively articulate its services to others. o Collaborates with diverse stakeholders and builds authentic relationships that advance the mission. o Bachelor's degree preferred o Excellent written and verbal communication skills o Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to process information promptly o Experience screening, interviewing, hiring, leading, and developing staff by recognizing their skills, talents, and aspirations while identifying opportunities for growth o Management experience in a nonprofit environment preferred o Ability to create and maintain accurate, detailed documents and records. o Proficiency with PC systems, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
Pay:
$68,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
