A Preschool or Childcare Director manages and directs programs for very young children. Supervises child care workers and pre-school teachers. Proposes policies, program fees and budgets for approval by a program board or administrative agency or implements policies of a national organization. Meets with parents and staff to discuss the development, learning and behavior of children in the program or center. Orders supplies and monitors maintenance and cleaning at a facility. Ensures that the program or center meets state and federal guidelines.

Overview We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Director to lead and oversee the operations of a vibrant child care center. In this role, you will champion the development of a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment where children can thrive. Your leadership will ensure the delivery of high-quality early childhood education and care, fostering positive growth and learning experiences for children from infancy through school age. This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic professional dedicated to making a meaningful impact on young lives while managing a dedicated team of educators and caregivers. CDA OR CCC.
Have excellent communication skills. Be self motivated . Must be able to use word , excel, canva, able to market to new families . Knowledge of state regulations and guidelines . Must have 5 yers of experience as a director . Duties Provide visionary leadership to create a welcoming, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children, families, and staff Oversee daily center operations, ensuring compliance with all licensing regulations and health & safety standards Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote childhood development, early learning, and social-emotional growth Manage staff recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and ongoing professional development in classroom management, behavior management, and caregiving best practices Foster strong relationships with families through regular communication, updates on child progress, and addressing individual needs or concerns Ensure all staff hold current certifications such as first aid, CPR, and specialized training in working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs Maintain accurate records related to attendance, licensing compliance, incident reports, and child development milestones Promote continuous improvement initiatives to enhance program quality and operational efficiency Experience Proven leadership experience in early childhood education or child care center management Extensive classroom experience with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, or children with special needs Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education Experience managing staff in a childcare or daycare setting with strong classroom management skills Familiarity with licensing requirements, health & safety standards, and accreditation processes for childcare centers Background working with children who have disabilities or special education needs is highly desirable Certifications such as first aid/CPR are required; additional qualifications in special education or caregiving are advantageous Join us in shaping the future by leading a dedicated team committed to nurturing young minds! Pay:
$47,110.70 - $56,735.46 per year
