Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Preschool to lead and oversee the development, management, and strategic vision of our early childhood education program. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans aligned with early childhood development standards and best practices in education. Lead strategic planning initiatives to expand program offerings, improve student outcomes, and enhance community partnerships. Manage budgets effectively, ensuring financial sustainability while supporting program quality and staff development. Supervise school staff, including teachers, administrative personnel, and support staff, fostering professional growth through ongoing training and evaluation. Oversee compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to early childhood education, including special education law and educational standards. Facilitate professional development workshops for faculty to enhance instructional leadership skills and classroom management techniques. Lead fundraising efforts to secure grants, donations, and community resources that support preschool initiatives. Ensure a safe, inclusive environment that promotes childhood development, social-emotional learning, and family engagement. Conduct faculty evaluations based on performance metrics, instructional quality, and adherence to curriculum standards. Represent the preschool at community events, public speaking engagements, and stakeholder meetings to promote the program's mission. Requirements Proven experience in school administration or leadership roles within early childhood or K-12 education settings. Strong background in curriculum development tailored for preschool-aged children. Demonstrated success in managing budgets as an executive education administrator or school director. Extensive knowledge of educational compliance regulations, including special education law relevant to early childhood programs. Excellent management skills with experience supervising school staff and facilitating professional development. Familiarity with childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Ability to develop strategic plans that align with organizational goals while fostering innovation in preschool programming. Exceptional communication skills for effective public speaking, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership. Experience with fundraising activities such as grant writing or donor relations is preferred. Knowledge of school legal requirements related to personnel management and educational standards is essential. $49,959.72 - $60,166.55 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
