A Preschool or Childcare Director manages and directs programs for very young children. Supervises child care workers and pre-school teachers. Proposes policies, program fees and budgets for approval by a program board or administrative agency or implements policies of a national organization. Meets with parents and staff to discuss the development, learning and behavior of children in the program or center. Orders supplies and monitors maintenance and cleaning at a facility. Ensures that the program or center meets state and federal guidelines.

Our thriving childcare center is looking for a dedicated, organized, and compassionate Assistant Director to support our Director in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children and staff.
What You'll Do:
Assist the Director in daily operations and administration of the center Support teachers and staff with scheduling, training, and classroom management Help maintain compliance with all licensing and accreditation standards Serve as a point of contact for parents and build strong relationships with families Participate in tours and support enrollment growth Promote a positive team culture and help resolve any conflicts or concerns Step into the Director role in their absence
Qualifications:
High school diploma required; degree in Early Childhood, Education, CDA/Ancillary Experience in a licensed childcare center (2+ years preferred) Leadership or management experience a plus Strong communication and organizational skills CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Must meet state requirements for child care staff
