$50,000•60,000 per year (based on experience and credentials)

This role offers the opportunity to grow your leadership career while making a lasting impact on children, families, and your community. As an Assistant Center Director, you will partner with the Center Director to support daily operations, develop teaching teams, maintain licensing compliance, and ensure the highest quality educational experience for every child. Role Responsibilities People Leadership Recruit, interview, and schedule teacher candidates while building a pipeline of future talent Conduct classroom observations and evaluations while providing coaching and professional feedback Ensure the L.E.A.P. Curriculum is implemented with consistency and quality throughout the center Create weekly staff schedules and maintain compliance with classroom ratios Support teacher development through mentoring, coaching, and ongoing performance feedback Manage onboarding, employee records, and personnel documentation in accordance with Massachusetts EEC regulations Center Management Ensure daily compliance with all Massachusetts EEC licensing requirements Partner with the Center Director on enrollment growth, family retention, and operational success Support family engagement initiatives and community outreach efforts Monitor classroom quality and maintain high standards of health, safety, and education Foster a positive culture of teamwork, accountability, and excellence Qualifications Minimum 1 year of early childhood leadership experience required (2+ years preferred) Professional teaching experience working with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred Director I and Director II certification required Strong understanding of Massachusetts EEC regulations and licensing standards CPR and First Aid certification preferred Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills What We Offer Competitive salary of $50,000•60,000 based on experience and credentials Professional growth and advancement opportunities Supportive leadership and collaborative team environment Employee childcare discount Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children, families, and educators every day Apply today to join The Learning Experience•Andover and help lead a center where children learn, grow, and thrive while supporting a team dedicated to making Happy Happen Here.
