Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality, compassionate, and personalized care for birthing patients and newborns. Collaborate with operational, nursing, and provider leadership to facilitate strategic vision and Birth Center operations. Execute directives while managing the inherent pressures of a multi-faceted, high-volume healthcare setting. Develop and refine clinical processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead continuous quality improvement initiatives. Foster a robust High Reliability Organization (HRO) safety culture, prioritizing proactive reporting, transparency, and continuous learning. Manage scheduling, recruitment, compliance, evaluation and development for CNMs and Nurse Practitioners across OBGYN clinical sites. Partner with operational leadership to serve as a resource for the utilization and productivity of CNMs and NPs, including identifying benchmarks to evaluate performance.Qualifications:
Candidates will have a master's degree, are registered nurse licensed, obtained certification by the American Midwifery Certification Board, and ideally have 5 years of experience providing full scope midwifery care as a certified nurse-midwife. Birth center experience preferred as well as experience with newborns. Current Basic Life Support "C" certification and NPR status is required. Bilingual skills are preferred but not required. However, a commitment to caring for everyone, every time is essential. Minimum of 2 years of experience of administrative oversight, managing fiscal responsibilities, and supervising staff. Demonstrated success in operational roles is highly desirable, with a preference for candidates who possess strong experience in clinical operations management. Salary range is $184,000 to $310,000 based on a candidate's experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity considerations.
