Directly responsible to the Executive Director of Special Education for all matters pertaining to special education, Principal of the School for all matters pertaining to the building.
Description:
This opportunity is intended for staff identified to participate in the Preshool Itinerant Team Initiative, including special education staff, related service providers, preschool educators, and other designated personnel.
Statement of Duties:
Attend professional development & coaching sessions related to the Preschool Itinerant Team Initiative.
Actively participate in discussions, activities, and collaborative planning during professional learning.
Complete any required pre-work, reflections, or follow-up assignments associated with the training.
Collaborate with district staff to develop and refine a local Preschool Itinerant Team service delivery model.
Apply evidence-based inclusive practices and collaboration strategies learned through professional development.
Participate in team meetings focused on planning and implementation of itinerant services.
Contribute to developing resources, procedures, and implementation plans that support inclusive preschool programming.
Share knowledge and best practices with colleagues, as appropriate.
Maintain attendance records and complete any grant-required documentation.
Perform all duties in accordance with district policies and grant expectations.
Other related duties may be assigned to support the implementation of the Preschool Itinerant Team Initiative and the goals of the
FY26 FC 0612
Building Early Childhood Partnerships grant.
Qualifications:
Experienced in a school setting and able to work in a team environment. Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent of Schools may find appropriate and acceptable.
