A Preschool or Childcare Director manages and directs programs for very young children. Supervises child care workers and pre-school teachers. Proposes policies, program fees and budgets for approval by a program board or administrative agency or implements policies of a national organization. Meets with parents and staff to discuss the development, learning and behavior of children in the program or center. Orders supplies and monitors maintenance and cleaning at a facility. Ensures that the program or center meets state and federal guidelines.

We are actively seeking a qualified center director who will oversee the daily operations of Over the Rainbow. The candidate should be experienced in the field of early childhood development with Infant/ Toddler and Preschool lead teacher certification as well as Director Certified. Responsibilities include recruitment of staff, scheduling, communication with staff and families, maintaining enrollment, and meeting all EEC standards, along with other day to day responsibilities.
Preschool Director Requirements:
Degree in early childhood development or related field is preferred. EEC Director II qualification is required. Minimum of 4 years' experience in this role. Minimum of 6 years' classroom experience. Strong leadership and administrative skills. Love for children and passion for teaching.
