Proposes policies, program fees and budgets for approval by a program board or administrative agency or implements policies of a national organization. Meets with parents and staff to discuss the development, learning and behavior of children in the program or center. Orders supplies and monitors maintenance and cleaning at a facility. Bundles of Joy Childcare Centers is seeking an experienced Early Childhood Education Manager to join our leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated early childhood professional who is passionate about supporting teachers, building strong relationships with families, and creating exceptional learning environments where children thrive. What You'll Do Lead the daily operations of the childcare center, ensuring a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for children, families, and staff. Coach, mentor, and support teachers in providing high-quality early childhood education. Foster a positive workplace culture built on teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement. Support the implementation of the Frog Street Curriculum while encouraging developmentally appropriate practices. Build positive relationships with families by communicating professionally and addressing questions or concerns with care. Ensure compliance with Maryland Office of Child Care regulations, licensing requirements, accreditation standards, and Maryland EXCELS quality initiatives. Assist with staff scheduling, classroom coverage, and daily center operations. Conduct classroom observations and provide coaching to help teachers grow professionally. Promote positive behavior guidance strategies and support classrooms with challenging behaviors. Help maintain a clean, safe, and engaging learning environment throughout the center. Respond confidently to daily challenges while maintaining a calm, solution-focused approach. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is a confident leader who enjoys helping others succeed and understands that strong relationships are the foundation of a successful childcare program.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred. Minimum of three years of experience in a licensed childcare or preschool setting. Previous leadership experience, such as Lead Teacher, Mentor Teacher, Curriculum Coordinator, or Supervisor, is strongly preferred. Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to coach and motivate a team while maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism. CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
