Education & Experience:

Minimum of three years of experience as a manager in a large, fast-paced, licensed child care school setting. Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or in a similar field is required. 40-45 clock hours of administration training, 9 clock hours of training in communication with staff, parents, and the public. 90 clock hours in preschool child development and curriculum planning. 45 clock hours in child development for birth through school-age children and curriculum for school-age care. Leadership skills to guide an education team through mentoring, coaching, and outstanding communication. Certification in CPR and First Aid. Knowledge of licensing requirements, MSDE credentialing, and NAEYC accreditation. Strong computer skills. Supervision of staff to ensure curriculum adherence and professional conduct. Commitment to ongoing professional development to stay current with best childcare practices. Maintain inventory and center organization.
