A Preschool or Childcare Director manages and directs programs for very young children. Supervises child care workers and pre-school teachers. Proposes policies, program fees and budgets for approval by a program board or administrative agency or implements policies of a national organization. Meets with parents and staff to discuss the development, learning and behavior of children in the program or center. Orders supplies and monitors maintenance and cleaning at a facility. Ensures that the program or center meets state and federal guidelines.

Job Description
The Lourie Center, Adventist HealthCare, is hiring a Bilingual Home Visitor who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.
As a Bilingual Home Visitor, you will:
- Assist with selecting, developing and preparing appropriate instructional material for the parents
- Conduct parent interviews and family needs assessments
- Conduct developmental screening and assessments
- Provide program parents with guidance on home safety, nutrition, effective discipline, constructive play activities, and other related topics
- Assist with coordinating doctor, dental visit and other community needs identified by the families, including transporting
- Maintaining individual records on children including screenings, assessments, referrals, progress reports, documentation of home visitation activities, etc
Qualifications Include:
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in early childhood, social work or related discipline preferred
- Driver's license with reliable transportation
- Have a minimum of a home-based CDA credential or comparable credential, or equivalent coursework as part of an associate's or bachelor's degree
- 1+ years experience working with young children and families in the home preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred

$20.07 - $26.42 If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
