Responsibilities Manage office operations, including supervising clerical staff and coordinating administrative tasks to ensure efficiency. Oversee front desk activities, including greeting visitors, handling multi-line phone systems, and managing client communication with professionalism. Maintain organized filing systems, manage data entry tasks, and ensure accurate record keeping using spreadsheets and productivity software. Utilize computer skills to prepare documents, proofread correspondence, and support word processing needs with high accuracy. Coordinate calendar management and schedule appointments or meetings for upper management. Handle customer support inquiries promptly via phone or email, providing exceptional service and resolving issues effectively. Maintain supplies, inventory and oversee general office maintenance. MCIR entries Quickbooks customer billing Experience with MiRegistry Knowledge of Michigan child care center licensing rules Requirements Proven experience in office management or administrative roles with a strong background in clerical work and customer service. Proficiency in Word along with excellent computer literacy skills. Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently and manage time effectively. Excellent phone etiquette, communication skills, and professionalism in handling front desk responsibilities Ability to work with children (infancy through school age) Must have a background in working with children (infancy through school age)
Pay:
$19.75 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 37.0 per week
