A Preschool or Childcare Director manages and directs programs for very young children. Supervises child care workers and pre-school teachers. Proposes policies, program fees and budgets for approval by a program board or administrative agency or implements policies of a national organization. Meets with parents and staff to discuss the development, learning and behavior of children in the program or center. Orders supplies and monitors maintenance and cleaning at a facility. Ensures that the program or center meets state and federal guidelines.

Job Description
Director:
The Director provides direct oversight in several administrative and management responsibilities at the Kids Grow location. Job Description Create an extraordinary environment for each parent, each staff member and each child while maintaining the profitability of the center. Reports to the Executive Team Member Kids Grow Inc. Be a professional, positive role model for all employees and children Full-time position, up to 40 hours per week worked unless taking time off approved by an executive team member, available as early as 6:00 am and as late as 6:30 pm (staggered shifts may occur) Possess a strong work ethic and have minimal absencesOverview of Duties and Responsibilities:
Director management and administrative tasks. Support Kids Grows faith-based curriculum in a way that engages a child's unique needs. Create a safe, welcoming environment where children can creatively learn and play while following health and safety measures. Come alongside and participate with parents, with open communication on what is best for their child, in both care and education. Pursue a positive relationship with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners.. Maintain child records, files and forms. Parent Tours/enroll new families Assist with the hiring, training and orientation of new staff Understand and know regulations with DHS Rule 3 Licensing Be tech savvy & comfortable with computers/software programs Assist in all matters of day-to-day operations Organize paperwork Process receipts and records Implement best practices and developmentally appropriate practice methodsQualifications:
Experience as a Director and/or highly skilled childcare teacher with sufficient administrative and leadership experience, and or/degree or diploma in childcare Experience and skills in planning and administering an early childhood or related program Knowledge of child care licensing requirements Computer skills Extraordinary communication and people skills Demonstrates interpersonal skills using kindness, patience and courtesy. CPR, first aide certification and all other state required certifications Requires documented status of legal right to work in the USA and satisfactory background/criminal history check.Why Choose Kids Grow:
