Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Daycare Director, where you will lead and inspire a nurturing environment dedicated to the growth and development of young children. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with licensing standards, and foster a positive, engaging atmosphere for children, families, and staff alike. Your energetic leadership will help create a safe, educational space where every child feels valued and supported on their developmental journey. Duties Manage daily classroom activities and ensure they align with early childhood education best practices Supervise and support teaching staff, providing guidance on classroom management, behavior management, and curriculum implementation Develop and implement age-appropriate programs for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with special needs Maintain compliance with licensing regulations and health and safety standards, including first aid protocols Build strong relationships with families through regular communication, updates, and parent engagement initiatives Oversee staff recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated team Skills Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices Skills to create an organized and nurturing environment Experience working with children Certifications in first aid and CPR; additional certifications in special education or behavior management are a plus Ability to lead a team of caregivers and educators Excellent communication skills for engaging with families, staff, and community partners Join us in making a meaningful impact on young lives by providing exceptional care and education!
