Job Description

Job Overview Young Scholars Academy is seeking an experienced, motivated, and passionate Level II or Level III Administrator to join our leadership team as Assistant Director. We are a high quality early childhood education program. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and support early childhood education programs, ensuring a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for young learners. As a key member of our leadership team, you will collaborate with educators, families, and administrative staff to uphold high standards of educational excellence and operational efficiency. Your strategic vision and management expertise will help shape the future of our preschool program, fostering growth and development for both children and staff. Responsibilities Assist the Director in overseeing daily preschool operations, ensuring compliance with licensing regulations and organizational policies Lead curriculum development initiatives that promote early childhood learning standards, creativity, and social-emotional growth Manage staff recruitment, onboarding, professional development, and performance evaluations to maintain a motivated and qualified team Coordinate parent communication, engagement activities, and community outreach to foster strong relationships with families Implement safety protocols and conduct regular inspections to maintain a secure environment for children and staff Support strategic planning efforts aimed at program expansion, accreditation pursuits, and continuous improvement initiatives
Ideal Candidate:
Holds a North Carolina Level II or Level III Administrator Credential Has experience in an early childhood education leadership setting Passion for early childhood education. Proven expertise in education administration within a preschool settings At least two years of experience as an administrator in a licensed childcare facility. Strong leadership abilities with experience managing teams and guiding staff development Excellent management skills including budgeting, resource allocation, and operational planning Deep understanding of curriculum design aligned with early childhood education standards Effective communication skills to engage with parents, staff, and community partners Ability to develop strategic plans that align with organizational goals for growth and quality enhancement Prior university experience or teaching background is highly desirable to inform best practices in early childhood education Join us in shaping the future of young scholars by bringing passion, innovation, and strategic insight to this vital leadership role!
Pay:
$42,000.00 - $46,000.00 per year
