We're seeking a dynamic and visionary Assistant head of school to O verview: As the Assistant Head of School, you'll oversee the daily operations and strategic development of our multilingual immersion program. You'll lead a team of passionate educators, foster a nurturing and inclusive environment, and ensure our curriculum aligns with the highest standards of early childhood education. Your leadership will be instrumental in promoting language acquisition, cultural diversity, and holistic child development. You will also ensure that school standards are upheld, and parent relationships are fostered. Our school is unique in that it bolsters teachers from around the world so this individual must truly work to serve our diver culture and the teaching staff. We believe modeling behavior is the only way to ensure great leadership.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the administration and operations of the preschool- elementary program, ensuring a safe, engaging, and effective learning environment. Ensure that our programs have comprehensive, age-appropriate curriculum utilizing, Montessori, Reggio and Project based learning. Recruit, train, and support a team of dedicated teachers and assistants. Foster a positive and collaborative school culture that celebrates diversity and inclusivity. Engage with parents and the community to build strong partnerships and maintain open communication. Monitor and assess program effectiveness, making data-driven decisions to enhance educational outcomes. Ensure compliance with all state licensing, health, and safety regulations, including sanitation standards. Manage the budget, resources, and enrollment processes. Promote professional development opportunities for staff to stay current with best practices in early childhood and language immersion education.

•Overseeing the enrollment process from tours, to admissions and onboarding Sitting in on parent teacher conferences Facilitating and planning School Events Facilitating teachers training light Payroll and HR duties Driving student enrollment Parent Teacher Organization liaison managing all communications for parents via email and the App Sending out teacher communications from leadership
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in early childhood education, with at least 3 years in a leadership or administrative role. Strong understanding of early childhood development principles and multilingual education. Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Passion for cultural diversity and a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment. Ability to inspire and motivate a team of educators and support staff. Experience with budget management and administrative responsibilities. Knowledge of state licensing requirements and sanitation standards for preschools.
