Responsibilities Employment and supervision of staff, including verifying references. Assist teachers in implementing weekly activities and maintaining a safe environment. Facilitate communication with parents and address any concerns. Ensure compliance with NC Daycare rules and regulations. Ensure business is compliant with state and federal labor laws. Ensure building remains in compliance with NC regulations. Maintain children's and staff records. Conduct fire evaluations monthly. Oversee playground safety inspections and paperwork. Manage curricula compliance and procurement of materials. Support staff through training and professional development. Handle budget, accounts, marketing, and parent communication. Preferred Qualifications Possess the North Carolina Early Childhood Administration Credential or its equivalent as determined by the Department of Health and Services. 2+ years of supervisory experience. 2+ years of experience in childcare and child development. Demonstrate ability to coordinate and integrate various components of childcare programs.
