Job Summary The Lead Teacher creates a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment where young children can learn, grow, and thrive. This position is responsible for planning and implementing age-appropriate curriculum, monitoring each child's development, maintaining classroom organization and cleanliness, and ensuring compliance with childcare licensing requirements. The Lead Teacher supervises children closely, communicates effectively with families, maintains accurate classroom records, and works collaboratively with other teachers and center leadership. The ideal candidate is dependable, patient, organized, and passionate about early childhood education and supporting the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of every child.
