Job Description

Come join our expanding school age team. We are hiring a strong leader to join our team as the Director of School Age Childcare to support the YMCA Before and After school programs in Londonderry and Windham. We are looking for an individual who can maintain a supportive, positive atmosphere that welcomes and promotes the potential of all youth and staff. This position will be responsible for the oversite of the School Age Childcare Programs, to include in and out of school time, including before and after school programs and no school days and help in summer camp. Under the direction of the Regional Director, the Director will supervise all employees and follow NH childcare licensing rules. Be the best part of a families day! Key parts of the position include: Oversee the operations of school age childcare sites and no school day programming Ensure that all sites meet state guidelines for childcare licensing and that all sites are license compliant Responsible for direct program support to site directors and their staff Recruit, hire and onboard program staff Conduct regular staff meetings with site directors weekly, all site staff monthly and assure effective communication with staff, to promote support for problem solving, program development, family engagement, etc. Responsible for assisting with the development and monitoring of the program budget, ordering supplies, etc Support enrollment efforts We're looking for someone who has: Qualifications that meet NH Child Care Licensing requirements for a Site Coordinator At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a licensed childcare setting 5+ years of experience working with young children Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills A passion for school aged childhood out of school time care and family engagement We offer:
