Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Director to lead our early childhood education center, ensuring a nurturing, compliant, and innovative environment for young learners. As the senior leader of the center, you will oversee daily operations, staff management, curriculum development, and community engagement. Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership to ensure the center's mission aligns with educational standards and community needs. Develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive curricula that support early childhood development and school readiness. Manage all aspects of center operations, including budgeting, resource allocation, and compliance with local and federal regulations related to early childhood education. Lead personnel management efforts by recruiting, training, supervising, and evaluating staff members to maintain high-quality educational delivery. Facilitate professional development opportunities for staff to enhance instructional skills and stay current with best practices in early childhood education. Oversee fundraising initiatives and community outreach efforts to support program sustainability and growth. Ensure adherence to legal requirements such as special education law, childhood development standards, and safety regulations while maintaining a welcoming environment for children and families. Conduct regular assessments of classroom environments and instructional quality through faculty evaluation processes. Promote a culture of continuous improvement by leveraging strategic planning tools and educational data analysis. Represent the center at public speaking engagements, community events, and stakeholder meetings to advocate for early childhood education. Qualifications Proven experience in school administrative leadership or as a director within early childhood or K-12 settings. Extensive knowledge of curriculum development, instructional leadership in education, and educational compliance regulations. Strong background in managing budgets as an executive education administrator with experience in managing funds for school programs. Demonstrated success in personnel management, faculty evaluation, team leadership, and supervising school staff. Deep understanding of childhood development principles, special education law, and early childhood education best practices. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences through public speaking and collaborative dialogue. Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds within preschool or early elementary environments. Ability to facilitate professional development sessions focused on teaching strategies and classroom management. Knowledge of school legal requirements related to health & safety standards, licensing regulations, and educational law applicable to early childhood centers.
