A Preschool or Childcare Director manages and directs programs for very young children. Supervises child care workers and pre-school teachers. Proposes policies, program fees and budgets for approval by a program board or administrative agency or implements policies of a national organization. Meets with parents and staff to discuss the development, learning and behavior of children in the program or center. Orders supplies and monitors maintenance and cleaning at a facility. Ensures that the program or center meets state and federal guidelines.

This position works with and reports to the Director of Operations and school ownership to support the daily operation and overall success of the School. Responsibilities Lead the daily educational operation of the School. Ensure licensing, Quality Assurance, health and safety compliance. Oversee child and faculty files and required training records. Support curriculum implementation and high-quality classroom practices. Manage, mentor and develop faculty. Lead faculty orientation, meetings and professional development. Participate in faculty recruitment, interviewing and retention. Tour prospective families and support lead management and the enrollment process. Plan and manage School events that promote family engagement. Support marketing events and other community outreach efforts. Support family-teacher conferences and educational concerns.
Qualifications Candidates must:
Have a bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field. Be Director qualified in the State of New Hampshire. Have at least two years of management experience. Have strong knowledge of early childhood education, curriculum and licensing requirements. Demonstrate strong communication, organization and leadership skills. This is a full-time position with compensation based on education and experience. Each Goddard School location is privately owned and operated by Goddard Franchisor LLC franchisees. The Goddard School franchise owner(s) are the employers at each school, and the franchise owner(s) set their own wage and benefit programs, which vary by location.
