Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Daycare Director to lead our early childhood education center with passion and purpose. In this vital role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure a safe and nurturing environment for children, and foster positive relationships with families and staff. Your leadership will inspire a team committed to providing high-quality care and developmentally appropriate learning experiences for young children. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and has a strong background in early childhood education and childcare management. Responsibilities Manage daily center operations, ensuring compliance with licensing regulations, safety standards, and best practices in early childhood education Lead, motivate, and supervise teaching staff, providing ongoing training and performance feedback Implement and supervise the use of Creative Curriculum Maintain open communication with parents and guardians, addressing concerns and sharing progress updates regularly Oversee child supervision to ensure a safe environment at all times, including during activities, transitions, and outdoor play Ensure staff are trained in first aid, CPR, mandated reporting laws, and other safety protocols to respond effectively to emergencies Monitor classroom environments for quality assurance in classroom management, behavior guidance, and developmental activities Skills Proven experience working with children across various age groups including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Excellent communication skills for parent engagement and team collaboration Ability to manage classroom environments effectively through behavior management techniques Familiarity with daycare licensing requirements and regulations Experience in childcare management or daycare center administration is highly preferred Certifications such as first aid, pediatric first aid, CPR, special education training, or experience working with individuals with disabilities are advantageous Demonstrated ability to lead a team with enthusiasm while maintaining a nurturing approach toward children Join us in shaping the future by creating a joyful learning environment where children thrive!
