Responsibilities Lead the overall operation of the daycare center, ensuring compliance with licensing regulations and quality standards Supervise and support staff, including teachers, caregivers, and administrative personnel, fostering a positive team environment Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote early childhood development and learning Maintain open communication with parents and guardians, providing updates on children's progress and addressing concerns promptly Ensure safety protocols are rigorously followed, including first aid, CPR, pediatric first aid, and mandated reporting laws Manage enrollment processes, including tours, admissions paperwork, and orientation for new families Oversee classroom management to ensure a nurturing environment that supports behavior management and individualized care for children of all ages, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with special needs Requirements Proven experience working with children in a childcare or early childhood education setting, including classroom experience in daycare or preschool environments Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise staff effectively and foster teamwork Knowledge of child development instruction principles and early childhood education best practices Certification in first aid, CPR, pediatric first aid, and knowledge of mandated reporting laws Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable Excellent communication skills for parent engagement and staff collaboration Ability to manage classroom environments with effective behavior management strategies Familiarity with daycare center operations, licensing requirements, and health & safety standards Join us in shaping the future by providing a safe, engaging, and enriching environment where children can thrive!
