Our school serves children ages 2 through UPK. The Director will be responsible for overseeing daily school operations and classroom programs, supervising and supporting teaching staff and serving as a liaison between families, the school district, staff, and church administration. The role also includes ensuring a nurturing, safe, and developmentally appropriate environment, as well as maintaining compliance with New York State regulations and UPK guidelines. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for early childhood development and a comprehensive understanding of best practices in early childhood education. They will be an inspiring leader who supports and motivates staff, builds strong partnerships with families, and fosters a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous growth. Candidates must have a minimum of two years teaching experience in early childhood education and at least two years of supervisory experience. Applicants must meet New York State qualifications for Preschool Director, including Director Certification. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential along with knowledge of NYS OCFS and UPK requirements. This position offers a competitive salary and follows the school year calendar.
