Overview Bloom Learning Center is seeking a dynamic and passionate Center Director to lead our Riverhead location. Duties Lead the development and implementation of curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards and best practices Manage daily operations of the center, including staff supervision, student enrollment, and parent engagement Oversee center-level budgeting in coordination with ownership, ensuring financial sustainability while maintaining high-quality programming Facilitate professional development opportunities for staff to strengthen instructional skills, compliance knowledge, and leadership capabilities Ensure full compliance with NYS Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) licensing regulations and all applicable health/safety standards Build community partnerships and support enrollment growth through outreach and family engagement Conduct staff evaluations, supervise classroom activities, and promote instructional leadership to foster a vibrant learning environment Manage recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and retention strategies for teaching and support staff Support curriculum development that emphasizes childhood development principles and inclusive education practices Represent the center within the local community and with prospective families to promote its mission and reputation Qualifications & Requirements Required Education & Experience (must meet ONE of the following OCFS pathways): Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (with at least 12 credits in ECE), AND 1 year of full-time center teaching experience, AND 1 year of staff supervisory experience NYS Children's Program Administrator Credential (CPAC), AND 1 year of full-time center teaching experience, AND 1 year of staff supervisory experience Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, AND 2 years of full-time center teaching experience, AND 2 years of staff supervisory experience, AND a commitment to a formal OCFS Plan of Study Skills Experience in early childhood education administration or center/school management (required) Meets

Pay:

$27.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
