$60,000-$72,000 per year + Milestone Bonuses Are you a preschool leader who knows how to make a center thrive? Learning Garden at Granite Springs is looking for an experienced, energetic, and people-focused Preschool Director to lead our center, grow enrollment, support an amazing team, and create a school environment where children, families, and staff genuinely love to be. We are looking for more than someone who can simply manage a preschool. We want a leader who brings energy, accountability, creativity, and heart to the building every day. Our ideal Director can walk into a classroom and engage with children, coach a teacher through a challenge, connect with a prospective family, review staffing and enrollment numbers, and then jump into planning the center's next community event—all while keeping the school organized, compliant, and moving forward. What You'll Do As Preschool Director, you will oversee the overall operation and continued growth of the center, including: Lead, motivate, coach, and support teachers and administrative staff Maintain compliance with Pennsylvania childcare licensing requirements and company standards Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and retain high-quality team members Create a positive, professional, and FUN workplace culture Build strong relationships with children and families Drive enrollment through tours, follow-up, community outreach, open houses, social media, and local events Maintain appropriate staffing and classroom ratios Oversee staff scheduling, training, professional development, and performance Manage center operations, budgets, purchasing, documentation, and administrative responsibilities Ensure classrooms are engaging, welcoming, organized, and developmentally appropriate Partner with leadership to establish goals and continuously improve center performance Be visible and involved—you won't be leading this center from behind a desk! Who We're Looking For Our ideal candidate has previous preschool or childcare leadership experience and understands both the educational and business sides of operating a successful center.

You should be:

Experienced. You understand childcare operations, licensing, staffing, enrollment, and family relationships. Personable. Families and staff should feel comfortable approaching you, and you should genuinely enjoy building relationships. Organized. Preschool can be wonderfully unpredictable! You need to be able to prioritize, multitask, problem-solve, and keep the center running smoothly. Growth-minded. You aren't waiting for enrollment to happen—you are actively building relationships, marketing the program, giving great tours, and finding opportunities to grow. A leader. You set expectations, hold people accountable, recognize great work, and aren't afraid to jump in and help your team when needed. FUN! Early childhood education should be joyful.
