In this dynamic leadership role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with licensing standards, and cultivate a positive community atmosphere. Your strategic vision and management expertise will inspire staff, engage families, and promote an enriching educational experience for every child. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in early childhood education while demonstrating strong leadership and management skills. Duties Make a difference every day! Manages staff by planning work schedules, evaluating staff performance, and developing performance improvement plans. Assists with the implementation of Company-provided curriculum, which includes coaching, communicating and interpreting standards with teachers. Be accountable for the operation of the center, ensuring that the center is operating in accordance with state licensing standards. Be responsible for ensuring an educational, caring and safe environment for the children and parents. Spark imagination, build self-esteem and help children discover new things each day. Promote the positive image of the center and play a major role in making the center a provider of choice in educational programs for the communities that we service. Recruit, select and retain quality staff. Help achieve profitability for the company. Qualifications At least one year of supervisory experience in a childcare or early learning setting Minimum of three years of classroom experience in a licensed childcare environment CDA or equivalent Early Childhood Education credits required Ohio Career Pathways Level III or higher required Knowledge of and experience with Step Up to Quality (SUTQ) standards Ability to meet all state background check, education, and licensing requirements CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain within 30 days Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply Ability to meet physical demands of a childcare environment, including lifting up to 60 lbs Ability to pass a criminal background check Must be authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available for this position Strong organizational, customer service, and time management skills Professional, positive demeanor and collaborative leadership style Comfort using office and childcare management technology Ability to problem-solve, adapt, and support others in a fast-paced environment Interest in growing into expanded leadership responsibilities
Pay:
$35,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
