Job Description

Commercial Refrigeration Service Technician Location:
Akron, OH or Youngstown, OH Schedule:
First Shift:
Monday- Friday About the Company Our client is an established independent Authorized Hobart Service Partner that has been in business since 1956. They provide service, repair, and installation support for commercial foodservice and retail food equipment. What You'll Do
  • Service, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and install commercial refrigeration equipment.
  • Troubleshoot refrigeration systems and identify the cause of equipment issues.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and respond to service and emergency calls.
  • Work with electrical and mechanical components associated with refrigeration systems.
  • Service refrigeration equipment used in commercial foodservice and retail food environments.
  • Assist with commercial food equipment service as needed.
  • Maintain vehicle parts inventory and complete service order entry.
  • Communicate professionally with customers and provide quality service.
  • Travel to customer locations throughout the assigned service area.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation approximately once per month after training. What We're Looking For
  • Commercial refrigeration service experience is required.
  • Commercial food equipment experience is required.
  • Strong refrigeration troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical skills; basic plumbing preferred.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work independently and manage service calls effectively.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Willingness to participate in the on-call rotation. Training & Benefits

Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$28.00 - $32.00 per hour
