Proposes policies, program fees and budgets for approval by a program board or administrative agency or implements policies of a national organization. Meets with parents and staff to discuss the development, learning and behavior of children in the program or center. Orders supplies and monitors maintenance and cleaning at a facility. Ensures that the program or center meets state and federal guidelines.

Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children. This role involves working closely with children to support their development and learning through play and structured activities. The Childcare Provider will also collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure the well-being and progress of each child. Responsibilities Supervise and engage with children in a safe and caring environment. Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development. Monitor children's behavior and provide guidance to encourage positive interactions. Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating play area. Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and any concerns. Collaborate with other childcare staff to ensure a cohesive approach to child care. Keep accurate records of children's activities, attendance, and developmental milestones. Skills Higher education teaching experience is preferred. Strong background in education administration. University experience in child development or related fields is a plus. Proven teaching skills with the ability to engage children effectively. Experience working with students in various educational settings. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff. Ability to create a nurturing environment that fosters learning and growth.
