Job Description
Job Summary The Daycare Director provides leadership, vision, and daily oversight for our church's childcare ministry, ensuring a safe, nurturing, Christ‑centered environment where children can grow spiritually, emotionally, socially, and academically. This role combines administrative excellence with a heart for ministry, guiding staff, partnering with families, and upholding all state licensing requirements. The Director manages program development, staff supervision, budgeting, enrollment, curriculum planning, and family communication. They cultivate a culture of compassion, professionalism, and faith‑based care, ensuring that every child is valued and supported. The ideal candidate is an organized, mission‑driven leader who can balance operational responsibilities with relational ministry. Duties Lead the development and implementation of innovative curriculum plans that promote child development and align with educational standards. Oversee daily operations, ensuring a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment for children, staff, and families. Manage staffing processes including hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating teachers and administrative personnel. Develop and monitor annual budgets, manage resources efficiently, and oversee fundraising efforts to support program growth. Foster strong relationships with parents, community partners, and stakeholders through effective communication and public speaking engagements. Lead strategic planning initiatives to enhance program quality, expand enrollment, and improve overall organizational effectiveness. Ensure compliance with licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and educational policies at all times. Requirements Proven experience in education administration with a focus on early childhood, daycare or preschool programs. Demonstrated leadership skills with a track record of managing teams in a fast-paced environment. Excellent management skills including budgeting, strategic planning, and resource allocation. Supervising experience with a commitment to fostering professional growth among staff. Knowledge of education laws, licensing requirements, health & safety protocols relevant to daycare and preschool facilities. Exceptional communication skills suitable for public speaking engagements with parents, community members, and staff.
Pay:
$35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per yearBenefits:
