A Preschool or Childcare Director manages and directs programs for very young children. Supervises child care workers and pre-school teachers. Proposes policies, program fees and budgets for approval by a program board or administrative agency or implements policies of a national organization. Meets with parents and staff to discuss the development, learning and behavior of children in the program or center. Orders supplies and monitors maintenance and cleaning at a facility. Ensures that the program or center meets state and federal guidelines.

Job Description

•NOW HIRING•A qualified Early Childhood Education Director to manage the day-to-day operations, establish and sustain a positive learning environment for our children. You will oversee the coordination of education programs that comply with local and federal regulations, ensure that the facility is maintained, manage and support staff. The successful applicant will have demonstrable experience in managing all aspects of an Early Learning Center or nursery school, as well as strong leadership skills. You should display a friendly demeanor, have a love for children, and strive to create a supportive and encouraging environment for both children and teachers. Early childhood development experience is a plus.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related area: minimum 2-3-year experience in leading a childcare center or team of childcare professionals.
