Director - $1000 Sign on Bonus!

Due to our expansion, we are seeking a Child Care Director.

The Director is responsible for:

Quality of education and care of each child Ensuring the implementation of the curriculum Conducting assessments with goals to determine the needs of each child Maintaining a positive working relationship with parents to meet the physical, cognitive and social needs of each child Set the tone for the facility, oversee physical facilities and maintain an environment that promotes a healthy self-image for individual children Work with and supervise all staff members as well as outside agencies and services Encourages each child to reach his/her potential in developing a love of learning Assist in interviewing staff for the facility Managing the image of the center Ensure compliance with DHS and STARS regulations Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as local and federal laws regarding child care Manage financial affairs of their center

Required:

Bachelor's or Associates Degree in Early Education or related field 3+ years of child care experience 2 + years management experience Familiarity with PA Keystone Stars Valid clearances (FBI, Child Abuse, PA State police) Ability to obtain a health assessment and TB test Director Credential is preferred.
